At Crisis Clinic we believe in offering
support and resources to help those with a disability live as independently
as possible. The following sections offer practical information,
advice and Web links to help people with disabilities achieve this
goal.
Crisis Clinic is able to offer an enhanced
level of assistance to people with disabilities, their friends and
family members, through our 2-1-1 Community Information
Line. Our telephone-based
service is easily available to everyone. We have toll free and TTY
phone numbers and can provide bi-lingual interpretation service in
over 150 languages.
Our Disability Information & Assistance Program includes:
Information and
Referral Specialists are available Monday thru Friday 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM
and Saturday from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
These Specialists
are on-hand to help callers identify and clarify needs, as well as
locate resources and find support related to their disability. Our
Specialists offer comprehensive information on resources for a wide range of
disabilities.
Assistance
Our Disability Specialist is able to help callers who have a more
complex situation or who may need extra assistance in getting
connected to a service provider. We work closely with many
disability providers and often know which services are most
effective. Because we want to provide the best service possible, we
want to speak with you in person, so please call us.

Our database has detailed information on more than 7,800 services
in King County. We have specific information related to accessibility,
types of disabilities and links to other websites.
