Locating affordable and appropriate housing
can be a difficult task, especially if wheelchair accessibility is
required.

the subcategory: Housing. You may further define your search
as needed.
Here are some housing options based on your level
of independence:
• Independent living
Subsidized apartments are available for people who are able to live
on their own, but may need assistance during the day such as the
services of a chore worker.
• Adult Family Home Care
Licenses are granted by DSHS Home and Community to qualified homeowners
to offer housing, daily living skills support and hands-on assistance
to those with a disability.
• Group Homes
Facilities are available for those who need 24-hour assistance.
Services may include meal preparation, laundry/housekeeping, medication
management and on-site medical monitoring.
