
This is an
excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for supporting and
empowering youth. Crisis Clinic’s TEEN
LINK program is a help-line for youth answered by youth every evening from
6-10pm. We are seeking dynamic, intelligent, open-minded, articulate and
dedicated individuals to supervise and support our professionally trained youth
phone workers on the line.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

Ability
to work 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at least three nights/month and attend one
monthly meeting
·
Understanding
of adolescent behavior
·
B.A.
degree in related field or substantial equivalent experience
·
Two
years experience working with adolescents
·
Knowledge
of local non-profit and human service community
·
Excellent
organizational, written and oral communication skills
·
Experience
using Microsoft Word for Windows
·
Experience
working on a phone line
·
Experience
in training
·
Willingness
to undergo further training if necessary
·
Strong
desire to empower youth
